I've recently got engaged and I looking at bridesmaids colours, everyone seems to be going for a chocolate brown at the minute and I don't want that, I want to stay away from lilac and pink too, so does any one have any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi Trisha

I'm new to the wedding forum and yours was the first post to catch my eye. I'm having teal bridesmaids dresses, I think it's such a pretty colour. Let me know what you decide on.

Hi Trisha

I got married in 2004 and I had my bridesmaids dresses made in antique gold, they tied in with my ivory and gold wedding theme.

I've had a few brides recently over at Wedding And Gems who have had a silver/pewter colour for their bridesmaids. It's very flattering for those will cool skin tones.

hello,

Trisha i think white and black are going to be good. choclate colour is bad but you said that you don't like that then black will be the best for that.

thanks

The color of your bridesmaids’ dresses is usually the same as the color you have decided to use for your overall wedding color scheme. When decorating for your wedding, you will use touches of color to accent your decorations and to help carry a unifying theme throughout your entire wedding and reception. If you've decided you want dark purple, for example, you might use that color along with light purple for your flowers, for the ink on your invitations, and maybe even for bows on the chairs.
Purple is also best for you..

Most brides dream of having the most expensive designer dress that they can possibly get their hands on for their wedding day. But once the expenses of a wedding start adding up, the realization quickly sets in that you might actually have to shop around to find the right wedding dress at the right price. Choose the color that suits you lot.....!

Who never dreams of the most elegant wedding gown to wear on her wedding day? Of course, women will certainly want to wear an expensive wedding gown with the high quality fabric and a very sophisticated color that will make them brilliant. Bridesmaids’ dresses are also the next concern when it comes to wedding. Thus, it depends to the concept of the wedding.
